My Summer Vacation

Part 1: My Trip to the Beach

This summer vacation, I went to the beach with my family. We drove for hours to get there but it was totally worth it when we saw the beautiful blue water and white sand. I spent most of my time swimming, playing beach volleyball, and building sandcastles. There were also lots of cute little shops and restaurants to check out. We spent three whole days there, and it was so much fun!

Part 2: My Summer Reading Challenge

During the summer, I set a goal to read 10 books. I love reading and it was a great way to keep my mind busy during the break. I read books about science fiction, adventure, and mystery. It was cool to see how much I read when I realized I surpassed my goal and finished 12 books! I even started to talk about some of my favorite books with my friends who also love reading, which was super fun.

Part 3: My Time with Friends

Even though I couldn't see my friends as much as I wanted to because of the pandemic, we were able to chat and play games together online. We set up Zoom hangouts, played Minecraft, and even watched movies together virtually. We had so much fun and it was a great way to stay connected during the summer. I can't wait till we can hang out in person again, but for now, chatting online was a great alternative.
